Sunday, July 12, 2015 - At home with Valerie, Meredith and Eileen. Last bottle of this stash, drank after a nice Bordeaux to mix it up.

Color still a young maroon/purple. Wine is holding up well. Picked up the dark fruits, jam, oak/vanilla on the nose along with a burnt sugar, caramel note. Texture is noteable in this wine, smooth and creamy.
Palate of ripe blackberry, spice, cedar, tea and blueberry. Medium finish.

Great wine, really flavorful and terrific pairing with anything off the grill. Ridge Zins do not dissapoint
