Thursday, November 7, 2013 - World Wine Symposium 2013 - Kevin and Kelly's excellent adventure; 11/6/2013-11/14/2013 (Villa D’este, Lake Como): This is a big serious wine. Although quite ripe, it remains fresh. Black fruits, licorice, earth, allspices and mineral. Exceptional concentration, silky palate and noticeable but not obtrusive tannins. Lovely wine that will require at least five more years of cellaring.
