Sunday, August 19, 2012 - A whole bunch of Wines (mostly Sonoma) with friends (Chris and Renee's): Ruby but a bit dull in color. The nose has tobacco, cedar, spice and also a bit of cassis left. Medium bodied. There is some cassis fruit left here, but obviously mature. Nice wine, but needs to be drunk. What a great year 94 was. As time goes by, it proves to be the standout vintage for the 90's.
