Saturday, March 15, 2008 - All I can say is wow! After 33 years, this thing is still kicking. In my opinion the tannins and fruit are amazingly integrated and well balanced. I'm not sure how much more life this baby has, but man did I enjoy it. For a petite syrah, the fruit was more muted than what I would expect if younger, but taking age into account there were no complaints. I didn't really take formal notes while drinking, so please excuse my informal ramblings on this one!
