Saturday, December 15, 2012 - Yeasty, nutty nose of citrus, green apple, chalk, vanilla, almonds, and biscuits. The palate is a mirror image of the nose. Fine beads roll through the palate with well-defined minerality and a taut streak of acidity. Well balanced with great length. Pound for pound, Roederer's Brut can hold its own against sparkling wines and champagne way above its price point. Outstanding.
