Saturday, February 16, 2013 - Rieslingfeier - Seminar with David Schildknecht, Andreas Adam, Thomas Haag, Florian Lauer and Dorothee Zilliken (Bar Boulud, New York, NY.): 12% Alcohol and 60 g/l RS. Very spicy and herbal on the nose with creamy peach, steel/stone, peach pit, vanilla. More burly with lots of concentration, and again a different flavor spectrum than the others. Herbal on entry with excellent snap and lively acid, lime and steel. Continuing the theme for the day, bitter stone fruit pit on the finish. Lovely and delicious but serious and zingy as well. Nose - 4.5/6, Palate - 5.5/6, Finish - 5/6, Je Ne Sais Quoi - 1.5/2 = 16.5/20.
