Sunday, February 1, 2015 - Beautiful Sta Rita Hills character in this cool-climate Syrah, drinks a bit like a Cote Rotie with medium-opacity, pretty garnet in color, aromas of spice and red fruit. Show a touch of spice in the juicy flavors of cherry, plum and allspice, with a snappy acidity and grippy tanninc structure that guarantees another 10 years or so of life. Supple and elegant, while offering up lots of complexity.
