Wednesday, September 19, 2012 - Off the wine list at O&C Club, London. Decanted one hour ahead. Deep crimson color, with little development at the edges. Cassis, tea leaf, graphite aromas. Mellow and rich, in that way of mature Bordeaux; soft tannins, very nicely balanced acidity and fruit. Lovely, but not 'wow' for me. Paired with roasted partridge, with enough left for the cheese course.
