Friday, September 21, 2012 - Took me a while to get the typical Grave character, but it finally came around. Smoke, toast, dark plum, currants. Palate was rather tight and narrowly fucused. Moderate length finish with some smoke and cedar spice. This is young and rather unexpressive at the moment. Moderate concentration. A recent Haut-Bailly is likely a better wine, though this certainly has class and balance. Give 5+yrs.
