Sunday, July 15, 2012 - Drank during BBQ cookoff at Severino Winery with Severino, Two Mountain, and Cultura wineries pouring and selling. We bought a bottle popped and poured and drank over the course of the evening. This wine NEEDS a long decant now to open up and to resolves itself, but the experience of opening and following a bottle, even with distraction of a fun party tells me this will be a special wine. Deep flavors of blue and red fruits, complex spice box and floral character and silky tannins on the finish. Will buy more and stow away for a few years before opening again. Score range 91-94 with high end potential.
