Friday, April 3, 2015 - Clear, deep purple in color, medium (+) intensity exhibiting youthful aromas of violets, blackberry, black cherry, black currant, dark chocolate, liquorice, smoke and tobacco. Dry, with medium levels of acidity and alcohol; luscious flavors of aforementioned fruit are presented alongside meaty, earthy/herbal elements. Medium (+) body w/incredible depth. Chewable tannins are quite astringent at present making this almost unapproachable for several hours. Settled down some as time went on but this is still very primary and requires several years of patience at the very least to show its best.
