Wednesday, February 13, 2013 - Anita: Med. dark yellow; low aromatics, still get slight apricot pit, quince, yellow plum, guava; thyme, slight marmalade, rootbeer (at least the "root" part!); almond, walnut; rich viscous waxy mouthfeel, nutty, good acidity, bitter finish. Great with oily salmon and pasta. This really grew on me through dinner. Went to a white bordeaux for a bit, then had to go back.
