Thursday, January 23, 2014 - One of the best bottles from the case. On opening, the vibrant red fruit seemed to jump out of the bottle. The red fruit aromas are quickly joined by some light spice (and maybe some sandalwood?). Beautiful mouth feel and length, with good focus, purity and energy -- red fruits, minerals, and a savory edge. This really is a stunningly good Beaujolais. With some soft tannins still to shed, this has the legs to run a few more years.
