Thursday, January 31, 2013 - Tasting at The Watering Hole- Sandhi & other Terroir Selections (Los Olivos, CA): Dense and dark in the glass with aromas of dried black fruits, baked earth, tobacco leaf and red tea. Velvety dark red fruit flavors with layered leathery earthy depth. Integrated oak, polished tannins, and lengthy spice-laden finish. Very nice.
