Friday, June 5, 2015 - Everything a full-throttle Napa Cabernet should be: rich, layered, and intriguing, with an intensity and finish that cannot be confused with a wine from anywhere else. Crimson in color; nose of chocolate, strawberry, and cedar; heavy in body. Intense tastes of blackberry, plum, black cherry, leather, and graphite. 14.7% alcohol. Powerful, to be sure, but beautiful as well. Drinking wonderfully now, though clearly has some life ahead of it.
