Wednesday, December 31, 2014 - I cannot comment on the price of this however was very pleased to have this opened and thrust into my face (with no expectations whatsoever)at a NY's eve dinner with some friends. This wine was pretty beguiling; fuller flavoured, had some secondary characteristics underlining a deep, dark strawberry flavour, typical Californian pinot traits in my opinion. This is still full of flavour, lacked the depth of classic Burgundies but was very enjoyable. Ps the drinking window says to 2014. Ignore this, there's a good few years left, I'm sure.
