Friday, June 1, 2012 - Before I opened the bottle I was concerned that the was beyond peak. However, the wine was sublime, light red, fading at the rim. Very etheral nose, cherry, hints of blueberry. On the palate very intense, again cherry and blueberry, complex pepper notes. A toast to my late father who left me a great collection of aged italian and french treasures.
