Monday, May 28, 2012 - Drank with friends at Taste in Plymouth, Ca. Thought it was the proper location to give this a whirl. Lightly bricked, strawberry nose. Just medium bodied in the mouth with surprisingly bright cherry notes and a strong acidic backbone. A bit bright for some, but once the food arrived, the acid was neutralized by the meat and sauces and the light red fruits complimented the dishes nicely. Nothing to sing about, but it was great fun to drink this in the heart of the Amador wine country. There wasn't a drop left.
