Thursday, October 31, 2013 - This is a Zin with a bit more of deep cherry flavors and caramel taste than you might expect from Dry Creek Valley. Very smooth on the palette with low acidity and tannins and a touch of spice. Medium finish which makes for an easy drinking and approachable wine. Would want something with a bit more bite if I had a medium rare steak sitting on a plate next to me. Will be picking more of this up on my next trip to the wine shop.
