Tuesday, April 30, 2013 - Classic NZ SB nose. Grapefruit, fresh cut grass and lemon curd. I have found that the best NZ SB's have a creaminess to the nose. I know that sounds weird, but I can't describe it any other way. Acidity here is very much in check. Palate is full of ripe tropical fruits; kiwi, star fruit, guava. Full midpalate, and a weighty, somewhat disappointing finish.
