Thursday, March 7, 2013 - Willamette Valley Wines presents: Pinot in the City (City Winery, Chicago, IL): Nose: There is a nice layered quality on the nose with tones of dark red fruits, red cherries, spice tones, minerals, and bits of floral tones.

Taste: Medium bodied with medium+ acidity and noticeable tannins. The structure is youthful, but there are pretty and silky tones of dark red fruits, fresh picked berries, red cherries, and some floral tones.

Overall: This is a gorgeous pinot right now. It can age, but it is shockingly open right now.
