Sunday, March 22, 2015 - The dark purple profile tells you that this gem is still young, but it's really drinking quite nicely now. With 1+ hours decant, aromatics of gravel, cassis, floral, cedar and cigar wrapper came out sweetly. Medium body, rich palate with dark fruits and forest notes. Not the grandest Montrose you'd expect, but the beautiful blend of elegance and masculinity will leave you satisfied. A real nice Bordeaux, and it certainly will improve some more with additional time in the cellar.
