Wednesday, January 8, 2014 - Monthly Tasting Group HWS #085; Spain: Ribera del Duero. (by EvA): Beautiful and luxurious bouquet with dark forest fruits like blackberries, beautiful oak, cedar, sweet spices, chocolate, coffee, gunpowder/fireworks. Same on the palate with good fruits, toast. smoke, vanilla and sweet spices. Overall a rich wine with good dark fruits, creamy, soft and round tannin and chocolate in the finish. Modern, but I love the style. Gives you the impression you are really drinking something luxurious. 92 - 93 for tonight.
