Monday, November 23, 2009 - Double decanted 2 hrs before dinner. Deep dark in the glass with a beautiful nose of cedar and leather peaking through the dominant dark fruits. Initially quite full and round, but finish became dominated by dry tannin over next hr, and the fruit never really lived up to potential of the nose. Very good with steak off the grill, but needed some big-food to fight the unresolved tannin.
