Monday, October 29, 2012 - The 'cru's' of Mount Etna (Salone di Gusto, Torino, Italy): Medium(-) ruby with garnet rim, viscous. Medium(-) developing nose rather closed nose of red berries, dried red fruits, some spice. Dry, medium acidity, light-medium(-) tannins, medium(-) body and medium alcohol. Medium flavors of strawberries, small red fruits with savory notes penetrating later upon opening. Elegant, light-footed. Good length with focussed fruit-driven finish.
