Monday, May 4, 2015 - Medium ruby. Expressive nose of red and dark fruit with lots of woody and toasty/bakery notes, some earth as well, much less in the blue fruit spectrum than the Alceo. On the palate Tuscan terroir comes through with a different mouth feel than Bordeaux due to a vigorous acidity and an earthiness that is more dry earth than wet forest floor of Medoc. Good wine, that can add a point. Decant or better wait for another 3 years. 94-95
