87 Points

Sunday, June 28, 2015 - I wasn't expecting much from this wine what with the iffy vintage. In addition, the cork was soaked all the way through and there were signs of seepage on the foil and bottleneck. An overlay of Brett on the nose. Then some surprisingly sweet fruit on palate. Almost california-like, but lacking the cola. With some air, the sweetness moderated somewhat, and this turned into quite a pleasant quaffer. Not finessed in any way, and very foursquare, but with all oak integrated and full of ripe fruit. At $20, a good value.
