Wednesday, June 24, 2015 - Medium-deep, reddish garnet in color with slight clearing at the edges. Full, forward, attractive and complex nose of well-developed & mature ripe fruit aromas of dark cherries, blueberries & cassis with overtones of mint/eucalyptus & cedar, floral notes of violets, green olives, dusty, tobacco, dried herbs, some cocoa, leather, earthy, spices & minerals in the background. Medium-full bodied with good concentration of smooth textured, elegant, developed & mature, complex, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, blueberries & plums with herbs, spices, minerals, cocoa, olives, earthy and a hint of toasty oak. Lingering smooth & polished finish. Drinks quite well at present and appears to be at its peak of development and doubt any further development would occur from additional aging. [From a 1.5L - A blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot & 20% Cabernet Franc]
