Saturday, January 17, 2009 - Dave Leaf’s retirement dinner @ Etta’s. Joe McGee brought this bottle and it was astounding. Fabulous Bordeaux character with immaculate blending that yielded lush fruit with significant acidity indicating it will continue to develop for many years. Palate showed a complex combination of red/black fruits, especially berries, combined with spices and espresso notes. Finish lasted for at least 45 secs and oh so smooth. This wine will age at least another 10 years. Looking forward to the next bottle!
