Saturday, November 5, 2011 - Inviting forest floor, cedar, cinnamon and dark fruits on the nose. Big kiss of sweet black fruits and plum liqueur up front, then some leather, tobacco and mocha come in on the long finish. Great mix of new and old world. Great finesse, ample tannins and acidity. An impressive showing. In a great spot right now, but clearly hasn't hit its peak yet. 10 plus years minimum left ahead of it.
