Wednesday, December 16, 2015 - Opened by LostVerse and decanted before dinner. First time I have had the 2002 so I was excited. Medium bodied with solid tannins. Notes of currants, cedar box, iron and Christmas spices. This bottle could probably use more time. It fell in the middle of my Insignia experiences. Better than the 1990, 1998 and 2000. About equal to the 1989, 1991 and 2001. Not as good as the 1992, 1999 and 2004. 92 points for this bottle.
