Tuesday, April 12, 2005 - Imagine a pile of elderflowers and pineapples being crushed on the forecourt of a petrol station, and you'll get the idea of what this wine smells like. Already developing secondary characteristics, it is nonetheless fresh, with a slight spritziness and very pleasant slightly oily texture. For an Auslese it's not very sweet - leaning towards Spatlese, but a charming wine that was consumed rather quickly.
