Saturday, September 27, 2014 - Medium-deep dark garnet in color. Forward, attractive and fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, raspberries and red currants with earthy & mineral overtones, sous-bois, loam, floral notes, exotic spices, dried herbs, some cola & red licorice. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of balanced, smooth textured & youthful ripe fruit flavors of red cherries, raspberries & blackberries, minerals, earthy, spices, some cola and a touch of vanilla. Long lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present with extended airing but will develop further from additional aging.
