2011 Banshee Pinot Noir Sonoma County

Community Tasting Note

89 Points

Monday, February 11, 2013 - This is a very nice value oriented Sonoma Pinot Noir that is an easy drinker. The nose is a bit muted, but the palate shows nice sappy strawberry and cherry flavors along with some spices, licorice, tobacco and a silky texture. The acidity is on the low-end of the spectrum, but the wine is still able to maintain a nice balance. Make sure to open this wine at least 2-3 hours before you plan to drink it.
