Wednesday, February 25, 2015 - This was drank at home using the Coravin. The wine was slightly cloudy and mostly ruby red in colour with some purple tinges to it and there were red cherries and blueberry jam on the nose. In the glass was a wine that had those same cherry flavours mixed in with a noticeable amount of tobacco and chocolate tastes. The acidity was very strong and the tannins were quite heavy as well. This wine tonight was overall a bit thin on taste but I assume it will get better over time. It may be a good idea to hold off on these for another year or so before drinking.
