Sunday, May 4, 2014 - Shiny ruby color. Very pretty nose of sweet red cherries, flowers, some menthol and licorice. It's opening up significantly with some air. On the palate there are beautiful notes of red cherries again, also crushed flowers, some minerals, licorice and some menthol. Medium-bodied with medium+ tannin and medium acidity. Good length. This is a very pretty Barbaresco with beautiful aromatics for medium-term consumption. (92+)
