Monday, October 29, 2012 - Early sacrifice. Drank over two days thanks to notes from @mootsie. Similar experience. Day 1 showed too much heat on finish. Day 2 much more integrated with very small traces of heat. This is a dense, concentrated wine. Great color of dark purple fruit. Nose was a bit muted at first. Smooth mid palate. Nice finish. Definitely has a nice life ahead.
