Friday, October 14, 2011 - Very nice. Still quite young looking with a reduced black purple note. Nose is quite intense, nice fruit, definite notes of cabernet franc, tobacco, cherry, high toned maybe a tinge of VA. Palate is very new world with a juicy cherry, blackberry midpalate that is sweet and ripe, lovely ripe tannins and unobtrusive acidity. Dries a little on the finish, which suggests that it is probably a good time to drink up. Really nice wine, good with food and without.
