Tuesday, May 17, 2011 - From a half-bottle. Deteriorated and very soft cork, with signs of past seepage under the capsule. Straw coloured. Botrytis spice on the nose, with notes of lychees and other tropical yellow fruits. Loads on the palate, with excellent concentration, and notes of marmalade and bitter citrus, as well as other yellow stone fruit. Very thick texture, and an obvious Yquem finish that lingers on and on. A little bit of heat right at the end, as well as some slight licorice notes as well.
