Friday, December 11, 2015 - Similar to my winery tasting back in October 2013. I'm a big Shafer fan, but for the price, there are far better Chardonnays even in the mediocre 2011 vintage. Still slightly closed nose with flavors of vanilla, citrus, pear, and some spice. Average finish. Very good but not what I'm used to from Shafer.
