Saturday, January 30, 2016 - Clear, deep amber appearance. Nose is clean with medium intensity and notes of honey, stone and tropical fruits and a pleasant nuttiness. Palate is sweet with balancing high acidity, low to medium tannins. Full body. Honey, raisin and that nuttiness on the long, wonderfully lingering finish.

We don't like sweet wines in general but this is our first botrytis wine and it could easily make a believer out of me. Very good to excellent and will probably go well with a variety of foods. Very good QPR. Should keep for a very long time.

2/1/16 I continue to be amazed at this wine journey. I've gone from hating sweet wine to becoming completely amazed at this one. I know a common thought is to drink these wines with desserts but, trust me, this one goes perfectly with a really funky blue cheese. Incredible.
