Friday, September 4, 2015 - Winery tasting. From 86% chardonnay, the remainder pinot noir. Rich with lots of red fruit flavors prevailing (my notes say "thick.."), this had a texture and taste which surprised me very much for a blend that's predominantly chardonnay. Lovely offering, and based on the cepage I would have guess this to be switched withe '06 reserve tasted at the same time.
