Sunday, June 29, 2014 - Grade VG+. Could be a modern Chat-Neuf, an Auzzie Shiraz, a Cali Cab blend, Central Coast Syrah, a Modern Bordeux, Super Tuscan or any number of other over-extracted, internationalized wines. There is little to suggest this is Tempranillo from Spain, but it's great value, well made and enjoyable to drink. Almost black color, nose of jammy black fruit, tar, figs, plums, menthol, tobacco, palate of intense blackberries, plums, raisins, decent acidity, low, fine, tannins, high alchohol.
My Grades: EXX=Exceptional, EX=Excellent, VG=Very Good, G=Good, O=Ordinary, P=Poor, U=Ungraded
