Thursday, September 27, 2012 - What a delight!! Deep fruity nose of dark berries and the palate is balanced, lively, fruity (totally) but with a depth and character and subtlety not found in younger full throttle wines. This is what aging certain wines is all about, and besides Muscadet, Beaujolais (when made for it) is another example of secret wonders that a cellar can deliver. Smafaboulous! Well done. Bravo.

Old vine Gamay not fermented via carbonic maceration. A fine example.
