Saturday, February 21, 2015 - Decanted up to 1.5 hours and tasted throughout. At its best at the end of the decantment period. On the nose mostly gravel and fierce minerality with quite some oak. Very primary on the palate with a lot of fatness and a silky smooth mouthfeel. Some underlying bitterness that disappeared with decanting. Also a lot of unintegrated oak. Broad in the mouth and twenty seconds length. A fine wine but would wait two years before trying it again.
