Friday, September 12, 2014 - Second time tasted with consistent notes. Such a gorgeous, rich, but still so young Grand Annee. Nose opens up nicely after 30 minutes to reveal fresh ginger, candied lemon peel, caramel apple, salted toffee, butterscotch, saline, lime zest and apple strudel. Palate still has screaming acid with very well measured dosage (feels like 8 g/l). Drinking well today, but optimal drinking is still a few years down the line. Definitely has the potential to be classic. 94 points today. 95 - 96 is in it's future.
