Thursday, December 18, 2014 - Bollinger Tasting (Sunfish Cellars, St. Paul, MN): Light-medium gold color. 3oz pour. 66%PN, 34%C. Great nose, fine bead, wonderfully toasted - much more so than the '02 RD - with lemon, pear, liqueured fruit, mineral, bold. The palate also has excellent depth, great toast, yeast, liqueured fruit, a subtle nuttiness, very good minerality. I love the energy and the length overall. Sleek and gorgeous, this will benefit from a few more years in the cellar.
