Thursday, April 23, 2015 - As some have noted, '11 is a suboptimal vintage, but this wine bucks that trend. Slight funk, sort of a macerated cherry thing going on, medium bodied, balanced, very much in the KB style. Large scaled but not ponderous or overdone. I can appreciate KB as well as great Burgundies depending on my mood. This was very enjoyable.
