Tuesday, December 17, 2013 - Light straw color with melon, guava, and honeysuckle on the nose. The palate shows citrus, melon, guava, green apple, and some herbal notes such as tarragon and thyme. There is a hint of bitterness on the mid-palate that gives it a lift and makes it more interesting. Nicely made with medium acidity and a nice finish although not super smooth. Not quite in harmony with clam chowder, but excellent with oysters, fried fish, and seared tuna.
