Saturday, June 13, 2009 - Popped and poured. Following the premature demise of the flawed Camigliano, I opened this so we could have something to drink with our homemade pizzas. A 1/8" clarity at the edge of the glass; red black in color. Roasted earth and dark, black secretive fruits on the nose. A smooth entry on the palate, with dried fruit, raisin, burnt tastes with some black fig and noticeable oak on the dry and slightly bitter finish. This would probably work better with boar or pig with some grease to the food than the pizzas. Good at this point.
